Herringbone Weave origami tessellation crease pattern

As a newcomer to tessellations I wanted to broaden my skills. I found Gathering Folds on the internet and saw many crease patterns for wonderful looking designs but wasn't sure which to use. One message to Madonna and she suggested the Herringbone Weave and I wasn't disappointed. As a newbie I found the twist involved to be a challenge, but that is the fun of origami and tessellations, overcoming challenges and adding new skills to one's repertoire. I loved making the design, I loved the service I received and I am now deciding which pattern will be my next one. Gathering Folds, and this design, is highly recommended!
