Purl Crease Pattern
Purl is made of common twists (closed triangle and rhombus twists) in an uncommon arrangement.
It's a straightforward tessellation to fold, and aligns perfectly with a triangle grid on a square or rectangle - especially if the grid is aligned with the short sides of the rectangle so that the pattern has its maximum shrinkage along the long direction.
